Read Deepwater Group's Submission to the Environment Select Committee on Seamounts and Bottom Trawling.

1 September 2021

Deepwater Group submits that the management of New Zealand’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) environment by the Government and the deepwater seafood industry in a global context is not only comprehensive but is also recognised internationally as being second to none.

In June 2022, Parliament’s Environment Committee issued their report on the seamount petition.
