The environmental footprint of global food production

In 2022 a paper appeared in Nature Sustainability entitled "The environmental footprint of global food production."  

It has many good aspects but did grossly overestimate how much fishing impacted marine ecosystems.  The Washington Post took this paper and produced a food calculator that suggested that most fish had a higher environmental footprint than beef.
